He’s Right There

 Nobody but Jesus.

It is a good thing to have friends. To have family. To have supportive networks.

Truth be told, it is dangerous to isolate oneself from the play and interplay of social interaction with others also created in the Imago Dei — the image of God.

In fact, it was God who said it is NOT good for man to be alone.

And yet there are times when our matriculation in His ‘school of character development’ requires an intensive in solitude. We find ourselves separated by circumstances from the typically reliable sources of human support. And He does it that we might learn that He — not the people He has graciously put in our lives — He, God, is the Real Source of our strength, He is our Refuge in the storm, He is our Rock, our Shield, our Fortress, our Banner, our Help!

Remember, you’re NEVER alone. Jesus is always right there!
