Happy New Year

Happy New Year! What a blessing it is to cross over from 2025 into 2026.

So much has taken place since this time last year. I transitioned from a church family I had grown to love to another congregation whose members have graciously embraced both my family and me. I faced personal challenges—some that brought me to tears on more days than I care to count. Yet through it all, I experienced God’s sustaining grace and came to know Him more intimately. He has proven Himself to be a Promise Keeper, a Light in the darkness.

There are certainly things I hope to see unfold in 2026. But above all else, my deepest desire is simply to abide in the Vine.

Maestro Richard Smallwood did not make it into 2025, yet the volume and richness of his musical contributions will live on for generations in blessing to the Body of Christ. And what an inspiration that is.

So I say to all of us: by God’s grace, make your contribution in 2026.
