Yesterday morning the executive members of the Chester City Democratic Committee met at the Holiday Inn Select in Claymont, Delaware to hammer out details of the upcoming Democratic Primary and General Election.
It was a good meeting. Thaddeus Kirkland, D-159, chaired the meeting. Macky McMillan, aide to Senate Minority Leader, Harry Reid (D) stopped in and gave us a pep talk. I really think we're going to be adopting the theme he suggested: "Standing up for Chester." We hammered out our platform positions for the judgeship, the school board and city council positions.
My running mate is Tara Jones-Stephens, a health educator and lifelong resident of the City of Chester.
